Six Day Wellness
Our six day program is extremely comprehensive. Our goal is to provide you with
absolutely all the knowledge you need to live a good life. We start the program
at 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon to allow you time for a comprehensive physical at
Cooper Clinic on Monday morning, should you choose to schedule one. If you’re interested
in learning the most up-to-the-minute health information, and in developing a plan
for applying that information to your life, this is the program for you. Our goal
is to help you live the best possible life. The program includes:
Exercise and Lifestyle Classes
- Opportunities to take 18 different classes
- PLUS two private one-on-one personal training sessions with a degreed certified
personal trainer
- Fitness lectures and classes
- Design a personal exercise plan customized to your needs and lifestyle.
- Learn how and why to use a heart-rate monitor
- A podiatrist will advise you on the best exercise shoes for your feet
- Health lectures
- Enhancing your Relationships
- Stress Management
- Sleep management
- Opportunities to make meaningful changes in your life.
- Vitamins and supplements
Cooking demonstration/classes
- Two demos let you enjoy “good for you” meals with take home recipes for easy-to-replicate
dishes.
- Three classes with our registered dietitian (who has also trained at the Culinary
Institute) will teach you the guidelines for optimal nutrition and help you figure
out what you should eat at home and when dining out.
- Over the six-day program, you will dine out for breakfast and dinner with our registered
dietitian who will help you practice and implement the lessons you’ve learned.
- The dietitian is also with you during breakfast and lunch daily, giving advice,
providing insight, and often conducting impromptu cooking demonstrations.
- A counselor will talk about emotional eating and our relationship with food.
Life coaching
- Our coach will work with you to develop a five year life plan.
- A professional counselor will help you remove obstacles/barriers that are preventing
you from achieving happiness.
Our team of medical experts will provide guidelines on how to live a healthier life
including tips on cardiac health, understanding your blood work, and aging gracefully.
Our entire staff is highly qualified. Virtually all them have graduate
degrees, and many have their doctorates in medicine and related sciences. In fact,
Dr. Kenneth Cooper, the father of aerobics, often lectures on 21st Century Medicine
and how to Start Strong, Finish Strong.
Cost and Cancellation Policy
The 6-day program costs $2,195. It does not include hotel reservations or
other custom services such as the Cooper Clinic comprehensive exam. To calculate

To reserve your space, a $1,000 deposit is required
for each person enrolling. The balance is due and payable on the first day of the
program. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Deposits are fully refundable if the cancellation notice is received at least 16
days prior to scheduled program date. If you cancel between 15 days and 3 days
prior to the start date, your full deposit may be applied to a program
rescheduled within one year. Half of the deposit is forfeited if cancellation is
within three days of the program. No refunds are given for early departure.
Travel Information
Cooper Aerobics Center is conveniently located in the heart of North Dallas and
near Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport. Participants
who live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area can choose to commute from home or stay at
the on-site Cooper Guest Lodge or nearby hotel. Participants traveling from out
of town can choose to stay at the Cooper Guest Lodge or nearby hotel.
- Cooper Hotel and Conference Center – A 62-room boutique, Southern Colonial-style hotel and conference
center on the beautiful grounds of Cooper Aerobics Center. Guest rooms are in walking
distance of Cooper Wellness Program activities.

- Transportation – Limousine services to and from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport
or Dallas Love Field Airport are available upon request. The cost is approximately
$75. We can make these arrangements for you.
Program Tips
- Expect to meet new people. Class size varies between 10 and 20 participants.
- Participants who do not schedule a Cooper Clinic physical exam, must have had a
treadmill stress test within one year of attending Cooper Wellness Program, or a
written release to exercise from your physician. (A treadmill stress test can be
scheduled at Cooper Clinic for $650.)
- Expect to meet new people. Class size varies between 10 and 20 participants.
- Bring comfortable exercise clothing, athletic shoes and a swim suit. You may want
to bring a sweater or jacket in case the meeting rooms are cool.
Additional Services
We hope that you make the most of your time while at Cooper Aerobics Center. You
can enhance your time by adding a:
- Cooper Clinic comprehensive medical evaluation
- More private sessions with personal trainers or sports professionals at Cooper Fitness
Center
- Relaxing or rejuvenating services at Cooper Spa
- Dermatology services, including full body skin cancer exam, wrinkle control, and
dermal fillers
